For most of us it's a world of small inconveniences. Traffic jams. Sore throats. Burnt toast. For JEFF STEINBERG, It's a world of major handicaps always. But does he see himself as handicapped, unfortunate, to be pitied? No, absolutely not!


He calls himself a MASTERPIECE IN PROGRESS! Yet to see him, he looks like anything BUT a masterpiece. Born August 18, 1951, Jeff Steinberg faced life with little hope - no arms and badly deformed legs.


Jeff spent most of his early life in hospitals, including Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children in Philadelphia, PA, where he underwent orthopedic surgery, learned to walk with a brace and was fitted with his first prosthetic arm. At age nine, Jeff was placed into The Good Shepherd Home for the Physically Handicapped in Allentown, PA, where he lived until he was 19.

Through the love of a local couple, Jeff discovered the truth that became the foundation
of his life: "...I am fearfully and wonderfully made."


Jeff Steinberg is a Masterpiece In Progress - And he wants you to know it! He sees his disabilities as assets, not liabilities. He is a speaker / singer, humorist and author with a very special message; that a real handicap is "…anything that keeps me from being or becoming all that I was created to be!" It is a most unique message for an entertainer, that each person in the audience is a "Masterpiece In Progress!"


For more than 40 years, he has traveled more than four million miles throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, letting people know that they, too, are wonderfully created with potential they never dreamed possible. He has performed for a variety of audiences, including corporate events for companies that include State Farm Insurance, Quixtar, Wachters Organic Sea Products, Piccadilly Cafeterias and more, Jeff enjoys performing on TV Variety Shows & telethons. He was Co-Host for an entertaining and informative Television Special, called "The Best You Can Be...The Handicapped Hall of Fame." along with disability rights advocate, Mary Nemec Doremus. He has performed on "The Variety Club Telethon" with Host Monte Hall, both in the US and CANADA; "The National Easter Seal Telethon" with host Pat Boone, from Hollywood, California for seven (7) years; he was a Co-Host on the "Memphis Easter Seal Telethon" for four (4) years and was a Co-Host for the first annual "Lehigh Valley Easter Seal Telethon" in 1990 raising more than $250,000.00 to help people with disabilities; High Schools and Universities including Notre Dame University; hospitals, U.S Military troops in Germany and churches. He has done voice-over advertising for commercials, demos, radio and television.

He has performed with such names as Barbara Mandrell, Zig Ziglar, John Goodman, Tony Orlando, Mary C. Crowley, Petra, Jim Nabors, Ray Charles and the list goes on. However, a true highlight of his career was a memorable appearance on stage and sang for Mother Teresa of Calcutta during her 1989 U.S. visit. As you begin to understand what a winner he really is, you then begin to realize what a winner you can be.


Jeff Steinberg is a 2012 & 2013 nominee for four (4) Artist Music Guild Heritage Awards for A) Male Vocalist of the year - (2); B) Comedian of the year - (1) and C) Crossover Artist, of the year - (1). The AMG is headquartered in Charlotte, NC.


Jeff began performing professionally in 1972, and has recorded several music albums, including his latest, "Tiny Giant" on his GlovePRINTS Recordings label. His autobiography, Masterpiece In Progress, in the fifth printing with more than 55,000 copies in print, is published and distributed worldwide by GlovePRINTS Press.


In 1987 Jeff Steinberg was inducted into the Good Shepherd Hall of Fame for Persons with Disabilities in Allentown, PA for his achievements in the field of music, for his advocacy for the physically challenged and for carrying the message that everyone is a Masterpiece In Progress.
